Construction of a 3-storey Building

Project Perspective

The building will consist:

1st floor - Admin Office, children's clinic, isolation room and music room

2nd floor - Girl's room with comfort rooms, bathrooms, dining area
                  and kitchen.
3rd floor - staff quarters and laundry area

Construction of covered court/basketball gym

adjacent to the building is where we desire to put up the covered court which will also serve as the children's basketball and playing area. Even if it rains, they could still have time to play without getting muddy and wet. According to studies, children need time for playing and recreation for it brings physical, emotional and psychological development to them. Also, this covered court will soon cater some programs and events that the orphanage will initiate.

Project Update: (As of May 2009)
     God really answers prayer! Through the intervention of one of our concern friends, we have been able to lay in concrete flooring to our basketball court which is situated in the middle of our existing buiding and the proposed 3-storey building. But this is just the first step towards its completion. We still need funds for the roofing, steel trusses and posts to complete the whole covered court facilty that will make the area useful even if it rains.
